NATIONAL – this giving season we have chosen a number of charities to donate to that are close to our hearts

This year we have a lot to celebrate. Firstly, and most importantly, we’ve helped over 2,800 individuals recover and return to work, an increase of almost 30% on 2020.

We’ve also grown as an organisation by 16%, welcoming new team members to our family across the country. 2021 also saw us focus on diversifying our service offerings, including expanding our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Recovery and return to work program, developing our services for mental health and wellness, and the growth of our Department of Veterans’ Affairs services.

We recognise that throughout Australia there are many communities struggling, beyond what we can offer through our return to work rehabilitation services, therefore this giving season we have chosen a number of charities to donate to that are close to our hearts as well as those of our customers.

To highlight a few of these charities, following the development of our culturally respectful and guided services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers we have chosen this year to donate to the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance. Whose vision is ‘to protect the health, human rights and fundamental freedoms that are significant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women through cultural preservation, health education and coalition building’. We will also be donating to R U OK, a charity that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times in their lives, and Disaster Relief Australia, that ‘unites the skills and experience of military veterans with emergency services specialists to rapidly deploy disaster relief teams in Australia and around the world in the wake of natural disasters’.

Below is the full list of charities we’re supporting this giving season:

Givit

Foodbank

National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance

Disaster Relief Australia

Ronald McDonald House

RSPCA

R U OK

In addition to these seasonal donations, we also look forward to supporting these organisations and others in the year ahead through a range of fundraising and community-based activities.
