WorkFocus Australia

Building better lives for Australians through work and health

Often the main factor inhibiting work is not related to the injury, but rather issues related to interpersonal relationships within the workplace.

MindHub’s Workplace Dispute Resolution Service provides a neutral and confidential forum for individuals to discuss issues impacting on return to work. With the help of a facilitator, participants of the service work towards an agreed mutual resolution.

Our service is conducted by facilitators trained in dispute resolution.

Next Steps

Tailored screening

Tailored screening will be conducted by a MindHub Consultant via telephone.

Planning

Separate conversations with the worker and the employer are held to have an understanding of the issues/dispute and set meeting expectations.

Facilitated meeting

Joint meeting is conducted with both parties either in person or via video conferencing. Aim of meeting is for both parties to discuss and explore matters further, and reach negotiated resolution.

Follow up

At conclusion of joint meeting, an outcome report is completed outlining key items discussed, negotiated resolution and activities, signed by both parties. The MindHub Consultant will follow up with both parties following the meeting at an agreed time to check in and ensure no further discussions are required.

Ongoing RTW servicing

In most cases, it is expected that the outcome at the conclusion of the dispute resolution will allow for MindHub to continue to facilitate a return to work.
