NATIONAL — As part of our acknowledgement and celebration of NAIDOC Week, WorkFocus Australia has revealed the logo for the new culturally tailored service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are seeking to recover and return to work following injury or illness.
The specially-commissioned Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander logo has been developed by independent Indigenous Design Agency, Cultural Creative.
The circular shape of the logo supports our holistic approach towards acknowledging and respecting the health, well-being, life and work goals of each person, while at the same time provides an unique visual identity. The moving arrows symbolise that our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service acknowledges, respects and provides for the cultural and individual needs of each client, with the focal point representing the overall goal of providing a culturally tailored and appropriate recovery and return to work service.
WorkFocus Australia is also delighted that the first referral for this new service was recently received, kick-starting the service in the New South Wales Workers compensation market.
