NT — an update from the WorkFocus Australia Darwin team
The WorkFocus Australia team in Darwin has moved from strength to strength over the last 18 months since the launch of the local office.
In 2020, two new team members were welcomed. The bigger staff complement now provides in-depth experience and support across the specialties of Rehabilitation Counselling, Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology – in keeping with the core WorkFocus Australia value of building better lives for those we support.
Our Rehabilitation Counsellor, Megan, is nearing 12 months experience within the role, while the team Physiotherapist, Hollie, has six years’ experience within clinical and occupational rehabilitation roles. Jacob, WorkFocus Australia’s Exercise Physiologist has over five years’ experience within clinical, injury management and vocation rehabilitation roles of employment.
Not only did the local team presence grow, but 2020 also brought with it expansion of the service coverage to include Alice Springs in addition to Darwin and Katherine. This has resulted in positive and steady growth for the territory.
To accommodate the above-mentioned team and service offering expansion, the plans for this year are to move into a separate office space in Darwin over the coming weeks.
