VIC — WorkFocus Australia celebrates two finalists in the 2020 ARPA Awards

WorkFocus Australia is celebrating the nomination of two finalists in the ARPA VIC Excellence in Workplace Rehabilitation Awards for 2020. Katherine Spark for Outstanding Consultant – New Employer Services, and Danielle Brown in the Innovation in RTW category.

Katherine has been a pillar of the Victorian business in the NES space since 2014, leading her team by example and ensuring she impacts each and every one of her clients in a positive manner.

Similarly, for nearly six years with WorkFocus Australia and Kairros, Danielle has passionately driven the provision of services for clients from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background, leading to excellent recovery, return to work and service experience results.

When asked about the nominations, Vic Business Manager, Ben Lingard stated, “I am thrilled with Katherine being named a finalist for the Outstanding Consultant – New Employer Services category. Danielle has been instrumental in leading our CALD service into Victoria over the preceding 12 month period. Danielle’s unrelenting passion for addressing RTW barriers bought on by diversity is inspiring, and has bought a refreshing approach to meeting the unique needs of vulnerable clientele. I am extremely proud of both Danielle and Katherine”.

This year due to COVID-19, the awards ceremony will be held virtually on 9 October where the winners will be announced.

UPDATE:

Danielle Brown was subsequently announced as the winner of the Innovation in RTW award on Friday 9 October. Congratulations Danielle and to all finalists.
