NSW EVENT — National Reconciliation Week event in partnership with the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council
WorkFocus Australia recently held a National Reconciliation Week (NRW) event, ‘Working towards reconciliation’ in partnership with the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council.
The interactive Q&A session followed by morning tea was held on Friday 28 May at the heritage-listed, Australian Hall.
Many thanks to our honoured guest, Nathan Moran, CEO of the Land Council, who taught us the importance of truth telling, the need to acknowledge Australia’s history and how we can work towards achieving Reconciliation in Australia with Australia’s First Peoples.

Our culturally respectful service, tailored towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, was launched during National Reconciliation Week in 2019 with the primary goal to support those identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander to reach into their rich and unique culture to achieve their recovery and return to work goals.
